Borehole And Wellpoint Maintenance
Although wellpoint and borehole installations are known to provide many years of good service it is recommended to service and maintain your installation annually as a preventative measure.
The wellpoint installation requires little maintenance provided it is looked after properly.
The pump should be adequately protected from the elements. It is recommended to switch the system on at least once a week during winter to reduce the risk of malfunction at the start of summer. In the event of your system not providing water our efficient team assigned to your call-out will assess the installation and provide you with a solution.
The borehole systems require to be serviced and maintained on an annual basis. In areas where high levels of iron occur we recommend a bi-annual service. This would entail the removal of the borehole pump, servicing of all working parts and the assessment of the borehole condition. With our latest technology we can now lower a camera into the borehole casing to assess the condition thereof and build-up of elements. This technology also has been found useful when assessing boreholes requiring rehabilitation.
Your annual service can be booked and scheduled for the beginning of spring by calling our offices.
